Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
- When the the multiplex network master switch assembly connector is disconnected, the power window control system must be initialized (See CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS ).
- Since the power window control system has functions that use multiplex communication, first confirm that there is no malfunction in the multiplex communication system by inspecting the multiplex communication functions in accordance with the How to Proceed with Troubleshooting procedure (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING ). Then, conduct the following inspection procedure.
- CHECK BASIC FUNCTION (WIRELESS AND POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM)
- Check that the wireless transmitter and driver's door key cylinder (key linked switch) can control all the doors to lock and unlock normally.

A: GO TO WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

C: Go to next step
- Check that the wireless transmitter and driver's door key cylinder (key linked switch) can control all the doors to lock and unlock normally.
- CHECK MANUAL UP/DOWN FUNCTION
- Check that the manual UP/DOWN function can operate all the power windows using the master switch and regulator switch (See OPERATION CHECK
)
OK: Manual UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG: GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
OK: Go to next step
- Check that the manual UP/DOWN function can operate all the power windows using the master switch and regulator switch (See OPERATION CHECK
)
- CHECK REMOTE UP/DOWN FUNCTION
- Check that the remote UP/DOWN function can operate the power windows using the master switch (See OPERATION CHECK
)
OK: Remote UP/DOWN function operates normally.
NG: GO TO OTHER PROBLEM (PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- Check that the remote UP/DOWN function can operate the power windows using the master switch (See OPERATION CHECK
