Oil Level Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket to the engine oil level sensor.
    2. Insert the engine oil level sensor into the oil pan and rotate it 180° clockwise.

    3. Install the engine oil level sensor with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 7.0 N*m (71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the engine oil level sensor connector.

  2. INSTALL CRANK POSITION SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Install the crank position sensor bracket with the bolt

      Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the harness clamp.

  3. CONNECT OIL COOLER TUBE  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID 

    (See AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID )

  5. ADD ENGINE OIL  (See OIL AND OIL FILTER )
  6. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK 
  7. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL  (See LUBRICATION SYSTEM )
  8. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  10. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
