Oil Pressure Switch: Installation

INSTALL ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure switch
  Adhesive:
  
  Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

2. Using SST, install the oil pressure switch
  SST 09922-10010
  
  Torque: without SST
  
  15 N*m (153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf)
  
  with SST
  
  8.0 N*m (81 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf)
  NOTE:
  - Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 155 mm (6.10 in.).
  - Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installing the switch.

3. Connect the oil pressure switch connector.
ADD ENGINE OIL (See OIL AND OIL FILTER )
INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
