Fuel Sender Gauge Assembly: Installation

  1. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the fuel sender gauge assembly by sliding it downward
      NOTE: Do not damage the wire harness.
    2. Connect the connector of the fuel sender gauge assembly

    NOTE: Make sure that the fuel sender gauge arm does not bend.
  2. INSTALL FUEL SUCTION WITH PUMP AND GAUGE TUBE ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  3. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR FLOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL NO. 3 ROOM PARTITION PAD  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
