Inspection Procedure

CHECK DTC
1. Clear DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
2. Turn the engine switch off.
3. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal for more than 1 minute.
4. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
5. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
6. Check for DTC
  OK: P1607 is not present.
NG: REPLACE ECM (See REMOVAL )

OK: CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (See CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS )
