Power Steering Ecu: Removal

  1. REMOVE BATTERY 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal
      CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
      NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).

    2. Disconnect the 2 clamps
    3. Disconnect the cable from the positive (+) battery terminal.
    4. Remove the nut and the battery clamp.
    5. Remove the battery insulator.
    6. Remove the battery.
  2. REMOVE NO. 1 BATTERY TRAY SUPPORT 
  3. REMOVE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Release the locks of the 2 power steering ECU assembly connectors (A) and (B)

    2. Disconnect the connectors (A), (B) and (C) from the power steering ECU assembly
    3. Remove the 3 bolts
    4. Remove the power steering ECU assembly.
