Inspection Procedure
- CLEAR DTC
- INITIALIZE ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR AND CALIBRATE TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT
- Initialize the rotation angle sensor and calibrate the torque sensor zero point (See CALIBRATION ).
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Check for DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR )
Result
RESULT CHARTResult Proceed to DTCs are still output after performing rotation angle sensor value initialization and steering zero point calibration 3 times*1. A DTCs are still output after performing rotation angle sensor value initialization and steering zero point calibration 1 or 2 times*2. B Normal system code is output C HINT - *1: The power steering ECU assembly must be replaced if DTCs are still output even after initialize the rotation angle sensor and calibrate the torque sensor zero point.
- *2: Perform the rotation angle sensor initialization and torque sensor zero point calibration again if DTCs are still output even after the initialization and calibration is performed 1 or 2 times.
B: PERFORM ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR INITIALIZATION AND TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT CALIBRATION (See CALIBRATION )

- REPLACE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY
- Replace the power steering ECU assembly (See POWER STEERING ECU ).
- CLEAR DTC
- INITIALIZE ROTATION ANGLE SENSOR AND CALIBRATE TORQUE SENSOR ZERO POINT
- Initialize the rotation angle sensor value and calibrate the torque sensor zero point (See CALIBRATION ).
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Check for DTCs (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
