Inspection Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL INDICATOR LIGHT)

Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the combination meter operates.

OK: Indicator light turns on.

NG: GO TO METER/GAUGE SYSTEM (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )

OK: Go to next step

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL INDICATOR LIGHT)

Check the Data List for proper functioning of the CRUISE main indicator light.

OK: When cruise control main switch operation is performed, the result will be same as above.

NG: REPLACE ECM (See REMOVAL )

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
