Inspection Procedure

1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

   Result:

B: GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

A: Go to Next Step 

1. Check that the driver side seat can be moved using the seat memory switch.

   OK: Driver side seat can be moved using seat memory switch. 

NG: GO TO POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM  (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )

OK: Go to Next Step 

1. Check that the memory operation is properly completed.
   NOTE:

   • The seat position will not be recorded if the SET switch and 2 or more of the memory switches (for example, M1 and M2) are pressed simultaneously.
   • If the operation fails, the mirror facing direction will not be memorized until the SET switch is turned off.
   • The mirror facing direction will not be memorized when the mirror is operated manually.

   OK: Driver side seat position can be memorized using seat memory switch (driver side). 

NG: Go to step 4 

OK: SYSTEM IS OK 

1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the mirror position memory.
