Front Power Seat Motor Assembly: Installation

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
• The procedure listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE LH 
2. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIR BAG SENSOR  (See INSTALLATION )
3. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)  (See REASSEMBLY  )
4. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER LH (w/ Climate Control Seat System)  (See REASSEMBLY  )
5. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU (w/ Climate Control Seat System)  (See REASSEMBLY  )
6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 SEAT TRAVEL LINK  (See REASSEMBLY  )
7. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SEAT TRAVEL LINK  (See REASSEMBLY  )
8. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION PLATE  (See REASSEMBLY  )
9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING  (See REASSEMBLY  )
10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LOWER  (See REASSEMBLY  )
11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
13. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK FRAME ASSEMBLY LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
14. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Attach the 2 claws and install the headrest adjuster.
    2. Install the 2 bolts.

       Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

    3. Connect the connector.

15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Retractable Headrest) 
    1. Attach the 2 claws and install the motor.

    2. Attach the 2 claws and install the headrest adjuster.
    3. Install the 4 bolts and 2 screws.

       Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) for bolt

    4. Connect the connector.
16. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD  (See REASSEMBLY  )
17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
20. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
21. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
23. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD FRONT LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH  (See REASSEMBLY  )
25. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Install the front seat assembly (see REASSEMBLY  ).
