System Description

GENERAL
1. By operating the seat heater switch which is located in the console box, the temperature can be controlled within the range of 30 to 40°C (86 to 104°F).
2. Whether the seat heater is ON or OFF can be determined by checking if the seat heater switch indicator light is ON or OFF.
3. The seat heaters of both seats are controlled by the seat heater switches, which are located inside the rear console.

Seat heater switch	Selects between modes: 7 heated modes.
Climate control ECU	Controls system based on signals from temperature sensor and rear power seat module switch
Rear seat heater (seat cushion and seatback)	Fast acting seat heater warms seat in initial stage of heating mode.
Seat heater main switch	Turns rear seat heater ON and OFF from front seat.
Rear power seat module switch	Receives signal from seat heater switch, and sends signal to climate control ECU LH and RH.
