Trip Switch: Inspection

INSPECT TRIP SWITCH

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

STANDARD RESISTANCE TABLE

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
5 (RSET) - 6 (E)	RESET ON (Pushed)	Below 200 Ω
5 (RSET) - 6 (E)	RESET OFF (Not pushed)	1 MΩ or higher
7 (A/B) - 6 (E)	TRIP ON (Pushed)	Below 200 Ω
7 (A/B) - 6 (E)	TRIP OFF (Not pushed)	1 MΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

Inspect the switch illumination.
1. Connect the battery positive (+) lead to terminal 2 (ILL+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 8 (ILL-), then check that the light comes on.
  OK: LED comes on.
  
  If the result is not as specified, replace the LED.
