Intake Air Control Valve Actuator: Installation

INSTALL INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR
1. Temporarily install the actuator rod to the intake air control valve actuator.
2. Install the intake air control valve actuator to the intake manifold with the 2 bolts.
  Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
3. Install the actuator rod to the intake air control valve actuator with the nut.
  Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
  
  HINT:
  
  When tightening the nut, hold the actuator rod in place so that it does not move.

4. Connect the intake air control valve actuator connector.
INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See INSTALLATION )
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH (See INSTALLATION )
PERFORM INITIALIZATION
1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
  NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
