NOTE: When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

HANDLING PRECAUTION
1. When replacing the steering column:
  If replacing the steering column, perform VGRS actuator angle initialization (see INITIALIZATION ) and VGRS actuator angle neutral calibration (see INITIALIZATION ) after alignment adjustment.
