Inspection Procedure
HINT:
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs
- CHECK THAT DISC IS INSERTED PROPERLY
- Check whether or not the disc is inserted upside down.
OK: Disc is properly inserted.
NG: INSERT DISC PROPERLY
OK: Go to next step
- Check whether or not the disc is inserted upside down.
- CHECK DISC
- Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked.
OK: No deformation or cracks on the disc.
NG: CHANGE DISC
OK: Go to next step
- Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked.
- DISC CLEANING
- Disc cleaning
- If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction.NOTE: Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative.
- If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction.
- Disc cleaning
- CLEAR DTC
- Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
- RECHECK DTC
- Recheck DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK: Malfunction disappears.
NG: Go to step 6
OK: USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (See ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE )
- Recheck DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
- REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK
- Replace the disc and recheck.
- Replace the disc with a normal one
- Clear the DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR )
- Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK: Malfunction disappears.
NG: REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER (See REMOVAL )
OK: END
- Replace the disc and recheck.
