System Outline

Automatic Light Control Operation

The automatic light control system operates when the light control switch is turned to AUTO. The light control sensor detects the ambient light around the vehicle. The system then automatically turns the taillights and headlights on if the light brightness drops below a safe level and turns them off when the ambient light becomes bright enough to drive safely.

Light Auto Turn Off Operation

* When lights other than the headlights are lit and the light control switch is set to 'TAIL' or 'AUTO', the taillights and front fog lights will be turned OFF if the power switch is changed from 'ON (IG)' to 'OFF', and the driver side door is opened.

* When the headlights are lit and the light control switch is set to 'HEAD' or 'AUTO', and the power switch is changed from 'ON (IG)' to 'OFF', and the light OFF delay time (30 seconds) has passed since any of the doors were opened and then closed, or all the doors have been locked, operating the wireless door lock function turns the headlights, taillights and front fog lights OFF.
