Intake Air Control Valve Actuator: Inspection

  1. INSPECT INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE ACTUATOR 
    1. Apply battery voltage to the connector, and check the operation of the actuator shaft.

      OK 

      MEASUREMENT SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2      		 Actuator shaft rotates to left
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1      		 Actuator shaft rotates to right

      NOTE: Apply battery voltage for 10 seconds or less each time the inspection is performed.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the intake air control valve actuator
