Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly: Inspection

1. Check the buckle switch

   1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

   Standard resistance

   TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   A-3 - A-4	Fasten the seat belt (Buckle switch is ON)	Below 1 Ω
   	Release the seat belt (Buckle switch is OFF)	1 MΩ or higher
   B-2 - C-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B-4 - C-2	Always	Below 1 Ω

   If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly

2. Check that the LED illuminates.
   1. Apply battery voltage to the front seat inner belt and check that the LED illuminates

   OK

   Battery positive (+) → Terminal A-1 Battery negative (-) → Terminal A-2	LED illuminates

   If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly

1. Check the buckle switch
   1. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below

   Standard resistance

   A-1 - A-2	Seat belt is fastened	Below 1 Ω
   	Seat belt is unfastened	1 MΩ or higher

   If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.

2. Check that the LED illuminates.

1. Apply battery voltage to the front seat inner belt and check that the, LED illuminates.

OK

If the result is not as specified, replace the inner belt assembly.
