Height Control Compressor: Inspection
- INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR (EXHAUST VALVE)
- Measure the resistance of the exhaust valve.
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

If the result is not as specified, replace the height control compressor
- Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.
- Check the exhaust valve operation.
- Apply battery voltage to the exhaust valve and check the operating sound of the height control valve.
OK

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2It should make an operating sound (click) If the result is not as specified, replace the height control compressor.
- Apply battery voltage to the exhaust valve and check the operating sound of the height control valve.
- Measure the resistance of the exhaust valve.
- INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR (COMPRESSOR MOTOR)
- Check the compressor operation.
- Apply battery voltage to the compressor motor and check the operation of the height control compressor.
OK
MEASUREMENT SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTMeasurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (B)
Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (E)Motor operates NOTE:- Do not operate the height control compressor for 60 seconds or more.
- Since a short and a lock-up inside the height control compressor cause excessive current to flow, stop operation immediately when the compressor motor does not operate.
If the result is not as specified, replace the height control compressor.
- Apply battery voltage to the compressor motor and check the operation of the height control compressor.
- Check the compressor operation.
