Rear Active Stabilizer Control Ecu: Removal
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH (See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.NOTE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
- After the power switch is turned OFF, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch OFF, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

- REMOVE SERVICE PLUG GRIP (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ROPE HOOK (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE NO. 1 COOLER COVER (w/ Rear Cooler) (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (See REMOVAL )
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
- DISCONNECT REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ACTUATOR CONNECTOR
- Detach the wire harness clamp.
- Disconnect the actuator connector labeled A.
- Disconnect the actuator connector labeled B.
- Release the lever's lock (*1).
- Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2).
- Disconnect the actuator connector (*3).NOTE: When disconnecting the actuator connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
- REMOVE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU
- Remove the 2 bolts and ECU.
- Disconnect the ECU connector.
- Release the lever's lock (*1)
- Press the claw and move the lever in the direction of the arrow in the illustration. (*2)
- Disconnect the ECU connector. (*3)NOTE: When disconnecting the ECU connector, do not apply excessive force to the wire harness.
