Inspection Procedure
- CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS
- Using the standard operation procedure, check that the wireless door lock/unlock operates normally.
OK: Wireless door lock/unlock operates normally.
HINT:
The standard operating procedure is as follows: Hold the transmitter approximately 1 m (3.28 ft.) from the driver door outside handle. Press and hold the transmitter lock or unlock switch for 1 second.
NG: GO TO WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
OK: Go to Next Step
- Using the standard operation procedure, check that the wireless door lock/unlock operates normally.
- CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTION
- Using the standard operation procedure, check that the power door lock/unlock operates normally.
OK: Power door lock/unlock operates normally.
NG: GO TO POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM (See HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING )
OK: Go to Next Step
- Using the standard operation procedure, check that the power door lock/unlock operates normally.
- CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH FUNCTION (SEAT POSITION MEMORY FUNCTION)
- Perform a memory operation properly. Check that the buzzer sounds to indicate the completion of the memory operation.NOTE:
- The seat position will not be recorded if the seat memory SET switch and 2 or more of the seat memory switches (for example, seat memory switch 1 and seat memory switch 2) are pressed simultaneously.
- If a memorizing operation has failed, release all switches. The seat memory function does not operate unless the switches are released.
OK: Seat memory switch function operates normally.
NG: GO TO PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See )
OK: Go to Next Step
- Perform a memory operation properly. Check that the buzzer sounds to indicate the completion of the memory operation.
- CHECK MEMORY CALL FUNCTION (REGISTER RECOGNITION CODE)
- While pressing seat memory switch 1, seat memory switch 2 or seat memory switch 3 switch, press the transmitter lock or unlock switch. Then check that the buzzer sounds normally.
OK: Buzzer sounds normally.
NG: REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU AND SWITCH (See REMOVAL )
OK: END
- While pressing seat memory switch 1, seat memory switch 2 or seat memory switch 3 switch, press the transmitter lock or unlock switch. Then check that the buzzer sounds normally.
