Inspection Procedure

1. Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that each power window regulator motor operates (See DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST  ).
   CAUTION: Be careful to avoid injuries as this test causes vehicle parts to move. During the Active Test, the jam protection function does not operate.

1. Initialize the power window regulator motor (See INITIALIZATION  ).
2. Check that each power window operates normally by opening and closing the window (See OPERATION CHECK  ).

   OK: Each power window operates normally.

1. Check that the power window components are installed correctly.

   OK: Power window components are installed correctly. 

   HINT:

   When the power window components are installed correctly, the problem has been caused by battery disconnection while the engine switch is on (IG) or the motor being overheated.
