Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the master cylinder solenoid, perform zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION ).

CHECK PUMP MOTOR OPERATION
1. Turn the engine switch off.
2. Disconnect the A24 skid control ECU connector.
3. Depress the brake pedal more than 20 times.
4. Turn the engine switch on.
5. Check pump motor operation.
OK: Pump motor normally operates.

NG: REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID (See DISASSEMBLY )

OK: Go to next step

RECONFIRM DTC

Turn the engine switch off.
Reconnect the A24 skid control ECU connector.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Clear the DTC (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).
Check if the same DTC is output (See DTC CHECK/CLEAR ).

Result
