Oil Level Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Install a new gasket and the oil level sensor with the 4 bolts.

      Torque: 7.0 N*m (71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf) 

    2. Connect the oil level sensor connector.

  2. CONNECT OIL COOLER PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the oil cooler pipe with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf) 

  3. ADD ENGINE OIL  (See REPLACEMENT  )
  4. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK  (See REPLACEMENT  )

  5. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  )
  6. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See INSTALLATION )
