Oil Pressure Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the oil pressure sender gauge.

      Adhesive: 

      Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

      NOTE: Do not allow adhesive to contact the oil hole.

    2. Install the oil pressure sender gauge.

      Torque: 15 N*m (153 kgf*cm, 11 ft.*lbf) 

      NOTE: Do not start the engine within 1 hour after installation.

    3. Connect the sender gauge connector.
  2. ADD ENGINE OIL  (See REPLACEMENT  )
  3. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK  (See REPLACEMENT  )
  4. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  )
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  6. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See INSTALLATION )
