On-Vehicle Inspection

  1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream main switch on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / ETCS / Accelerator Position No. 1 and Accelerator Position No. 2.
    5. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

    Standard Voltage 

    ACCELERATOR PEDAL OPERATIONS CHART

    Accelerator Pedal Operations Accelerator Position No. 1 Accelerator Position No. 2
    Released 0.5 to 1.1V 1.2 to 2.0 V
    Depressed 2.6 to 4.5 V 3.4 to 5.0 V

    If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal, wire harness and ECM.
