Suspension Control Ecu: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See INITIALIZATION ).
  2. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. w/ Manual Folding-up Function:

      Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly LH (See REMOVAL ).

    2. w/ Automatic Folding-up Function:

      Remove the rear No. 2 seat assembly LH (See REMOVAL ).

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

  4. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  (See REMOVAL )
  6. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK  (See REMOVAL )
  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT COVER CAP (for Semi Power Seat)  (See REMOVAL )
  9. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH  (See REMOVAL )
  10. REMOVE REAR SIDE NO. 2 AIR DUCT  (See DISASSEMBLY )
  11. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and ECU.
    2. Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the connector.
