Pattern Select Switch: Inspection

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance 

    STANDARD RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

    Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
    4 (P) - 3 (E) Pattern select (PWR) switch on Below 1 Ω
    4 (P) - 3 (E) Pattern select (PWR) switch off 10 kΩ or higher
    2 (2ND) - 3 (E) Pattern select (2ND) switch continuously pressed Below 1 Ω
    2 (2ND) - 3 (E) Pattern select (2ND) switch released 10 kΩ or higher

    If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 pattern select switch assembly.
