Shift Lever: Installation

INSTALL TRANSMISSION FLOOR SHIFT ASSEMBLY
1. Install the floor shift with the 4 bolts. Tighten the bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
  Torque: 14 N*m (143 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
2. Install the indoor electrical key oscillator with the screw.
3. Connect the 2 connectors.

CONNECT FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Turn the control shaft lever RH of the park/neutral position switch counterclockwise until it stops, and then turn it clockwise 2 notches to set it to the N position.
2. Move the shift lever to N.

3. Temporarily install the floor shift gear shifting rod with the nut.
4. Tighten the nut while lightly pushing the lever rearward.
  Torque: 13 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)
INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ o Cool Box)
1. Install the rear console box sub-assembly (See INSTALLATION ).
INSTALL COOLING BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ Cool Box)
1. Install the cooling box assembly (See INSTALLATION ).
INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
