Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
- When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (See CALIBRATION ).
- A road test means accelerating, decelerating, and turning the vehicle safely.
- CHECK DTC (FOR ABS CONTROL SYSTEM)
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Perform the road test.
- Check for the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
Result
DTC RESULT REFERENCEResult Proceed to DTC (ABS control system) is not output A DTC (ABS control system) is output B
B: REPAIR CIRCUITS INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTCS (See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART )
A: Go to next step
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Check for the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR
).
Result

B: REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
