DTC C1203/53 ECM Communication Circuit Malfunction: Description

This DTC is output when the ECM information about user country does not match the skid control ECU information. In this case, the VSC system does not operate.

This circuit is used in the CAN communication system. The signals of the wheel speed and VSC data are sent from the skid control ECU to the ECM. From the ECM to the skid control ECU, the signals of the shift position, throttle position, engine revolution, intake air temperature, engine torque request, and accelerator pedal position are sent.
