Shift Lever: Reassembly

INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT WIRE SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Shift lever with multi-mode automatic transmission:
  1. Connect the 2 terminals of the indicator light wire harness to the connector of the transmission control switch.
  2. Install the connector to the shift lever assembly.

2. Gate shift lever:
  1. Install the connector to the shift lever assembly.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING LOWER
1. Install the position indicator housing lower to the shift lock control unit.
  HINT:
  
  Engage the claws securely.

INSTALL NO. 2 POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER
1. Install the position indicator slide cover to the No. 2 position indicator slide cover.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR SLIDE COVER
1. Install the position indicator slide cover to the position indicator housing lower.
  NOTE: Install the No. 2 position indicator slide cover with the boss facing the rear of the vehicle.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR LIGHT GUIDE
1. Install the position indicator light guide to the position indicator housing lower.
  HINT:
  
  Engage the claws securely.

2. Install the indicator light wire sub-assembly to the shift lever assembly.

INSTALL NO. 1 SHIFT LOCK RELEASE LINK
1. Apply MP grease to the shift lock release link and spring.
2. Install the shift lock release link, spring, and cover.

INSTALL NO. 1 PATTERN SELECT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Install the No. 1 pattern select switch assembly to the position indicator housing.

INSTALL SHIFT LEVER CAP
1. Install the shift lever cap to the position indicator housing.

INSTALL POSITION INDICATOR HOUSING
1. Install the position indicator housing to the shift lever assembly.
  HINT:
