System Outline

The BEAN consists of body electrical systems such as the body ECU, auto wiper ECU, A/C amplifier, airbag sensor assembly, combination meter, moon roof control ECU, overhead J/B, rain sensor, center cluster integration panel*, tilt and telescopic ECU*, AFS ECU*, transponder key computer, power back door ECU*, power seat control SW and ECU (Driver's seat)*, remote control mirror ECU RH*, remote control mirror ECU LH*, power window master SW, power window control SW front RH, power window control SW rear LH, power window control SW rear RH and gateway ECU. The gateway ECU has communication circuits which correspond to different types of communication data. Different types of communication data can therefore be shared among communication parts after it goes through gateway ECU. Vehicle information is input to the body ECU at the assembly plant and acts as a representative ECU which delivers information to other ECUs through multiplex communication.
