Throttle Body: Removal

PRECAUTION

REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE LH COVER NO.2 (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE ENGINE ROOM COVER SIDE (See REMOVAL )
DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) (See COOLANT (FOR ENGINE) )
REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY OUTER (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (See REMOVAL )
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET
1. Disconnect the 4 clamps.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and air cleaner cap w/ inlet.
3. Remove the air cleaner element from the air cleaner case.

REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE W/ RESONATOR
1. Separate the ventilation hose No.2.

2. Disconnect the MAF meter connector.
3. Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps from the air cleaner.

4. Remove the 5 bolts from the air cleaner case w/ resonator.

5. Remove the hose clamp, and separate the air cleaner hose No.1.
6. Remove the air cleaner case w/ resonator.

REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
1. Disconnect the throttle motor connector (A).
2. Separate the water by-pass hose No.2 (B).
3. Separate the water by-pass hose No.3 (C).
4. Separate the fuel vapor feed hose (D).

5. Remove the 4 bolts and the throttle body assembly.

6. Remove the throttle body gasket from the intake air connector.
