Data List / Active Test
- USING TECHSTREAM
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Monitor the ECU data by following the prompts on the tester screen.
HINT:
Techstream has a "Snapshot" function which records the monitored data. Refer to Techstream operator's manual for further details.
- DATA LIST
HINT:
Using the Data List displayed on Techstream, you can read the value of the switch, sensor, actuator, etc. without parts removal. Reading the Data List as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time.
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch ON.
- Read the Data List according to the display on the tester.

OFF: Power window lock switch in UNLOCK position- Glass Position (Close-1/4) Door glass position (Fully closed - 1/4 open) signal/OK or CAUTION OK: Power window is going UP by manual operation CAUTION: CAUTION may be displayed even when no resistance is applied in each position. In this case, there must be a foreign object stuck in that position- Glass Position (1/4-2/4) Door glass position (1/4 open - 2/ 4 open) signal/OK or CAUTION OK: Power window is going UP by manual operation CAUTION: CAUTION may be displayed even when no resistance is applied in each position. - ACTIVE TEST
HINT:
Performing the Active Test using Techstream allows you to operate the relay, VSV, actuator, etc. without parts removal. Performing the Active Test as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time. It is possible to display the Data List during the Active Test.
