3UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: MASS AIR FLOW METER:

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE MASS AIR FLOW METER






(a) Disconnect the air flow meter connector.
(b) Remove the 2 screws and mass air flow meter.
(c) Remove O-ring from the mass air flow meter.
