3UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ECM:

INSTALLATION





1. INSTALL ECM
(a) Insert the ECM into the ECM box.
(b) Install the ECM to the ECM box with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
(c) Connect the 5 ECM connectors.






2. INSTALL ECM BOX COVER
(a) Install the ECM box cover with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
