Data List / Active Test

HINT:
Using the Data List displayed on the techstream, you can read the value of the switch, sensor, actuator etc. without parts removal. Reading the Data List as the first step in troubleshooting is one way to shorten the labor time.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the tester ON.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / desired system / Data List.
- According to the display on the tester, read the "Data List".
Immobilizer:
IMMOBILIZERItem Measurement Item / Display (Range) Normal Condition Diagnostic Note KEY SW Unlock warning switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Key is in ignition key cylinder
OFF: No key is in ignition key cylinder- IG SW Ignition switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Ignition switch ON or ACC

UNSET: Ignition switch ONPermit (start) Permit (start) signal / OK or NG OK: Engine start is permitted

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST

Performing the Active Test using the Techstream allows relay, VSV, actuator etc. to operate without removing any parts. Performing the Active Test early as the first step of troubleshooting is one way to shorten labor time.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Turn the tester ON.
- Enter the follwoing menus: Body Electrical / Immobolizer / Active Test.
- According to the display on the tester, perform the "Active Test".
