Quarter Window Glass: Installation

HINT:

• Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
• The procedures listed below are for the RH side.
• A bolt without a torque specification is shown in STANDARD MEASUREMENT  .

1. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH 
   1. Install the quarter window.
      1. When using a new regulator:

         Install the 3 nuts. Tighten the nuts as much as possible by hand.

      2. When reusing the regulator:

         Align the matchmarks and tighten the 3 nuts.

         Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

2. INSTALL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
   1. Install the power window regulator and regulator base plate with the 2 screws.
3. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW STOP 
   1. Install the 2 quarter window stops with the 2 bolts. Tighten the bolts as much as possible by hand.

4. INSTALL QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH 
   1. Install the quarter window to the vehicle body.
      1. Loosely install the regulator's 2 bolts and nut.
      2. Tighten the motor's 3 nuts.

         Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf) 

5. ADJUST QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY RH (See  ADJUSTMENT   ) 
6. INSTALL REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
7. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH 
   1. Install the front part of the luggage compartment door wetherstrip with 3 clips.

8. INSTALL QUARTER BELT MOULDING RH 
   1. Install the quarter belt moulding RH.

9. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP RH 
   1. Install the center pillar upper end weatherstrip RH with the 4 clips.

10. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT RH 
    1. Install the quarter trim panel assembly RH with the 4 clips.

11. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY RH (See  REASSEMBLY  ). 
12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ). 
13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY(See  INSTALLATION  ). 
14. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE (See  INSTALLATION  ). 
15. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLE (See  INSTALLATION  ). 
16. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER (See  INSTALLATION  ). 
17. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLE (See  INSTALLATION  ).
