Rear Quarter Window Motor: Inspection

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Inspect the operation of the power window regulator motor (quarter window motor LH).
    2. Apply battery voltage to the motor terminals and check operation of the motor.

      OK 

      MEASUREMENT SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2      		 Turns clockwise
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1      		 Turns counterclockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.

  2. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Inspect the operation of the power window regulator motor (quarter window motor RH).
    2. Apply battery voltage to the motor terminals and check operation of the motor.

      OK 

      MEASUREMENT SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Measurement Condition Specified Condition
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2      		 Turns clockwise
      Battery positive (+) → Terminal 2
      Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1      		 Turns counterclockwise

      If the result is not as specified, replace the motor assembly.
