Intake Manifold: Inspection

INSPECT INTAKE MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
1. Using a precision straightedge and feeler gauge, measure the surface contacting the intake manifold upper for warpage.
  Maximum warpage: 0.10 mm (0.0039 in.)
  
  If the warpage is greater than the maximum, replace the intake manifold sub-assembly upper.

INSPECT INTAKE MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LOWER
1. Using a precision straightedge and feeler gauge, measure the surface contacting the cylinder head and intake manifold for warpage.
  Maximum warpage: 0.15 mm (0.0059 in.)
  
  If the warpage is greater than the maximum, replace the intake manifold sub-assembly lower.
