Inspection Procedure

CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (OPERATION)
1. Check that the turn signal switch can operate the turn signal light normally.
  OK: Turn signal switch can operate the turn signal light normally.
OK: REPLACE TURN SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

NG: Go to next step.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

Disconnect the C11 switch connector.

Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage

VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
C11-1 (B) - Body ground	10 to 14 V

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
C11-8 (E) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK: Go to next step.

CHECK RESISTANCE OF COMMUNICATION LINE

Disconnect the C11 switch connector.
Disconnect the L24 and T8 ECU connectors.

Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance

RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
C11-9 (MPX1) - T8-6 (MPX2)	Below 1 Ω
C11-10 (MPX2) - L24-2 (MPX+)	Below 1 Ω
