Cruise Control Main Switch: Installation

  1. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the switch and steering wheel boss cover lower.
    2. Install the 3 screws.

    3. Install the 3 screws.
  2. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. INSTALL STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY (See  DISPOSAL  )

  4. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH MODULATOR 
    1. Install the modulator and then connect the connector.
    2. Install the 2 screws.

  5. INSTALL SWITCH AND VOLUME CASE 
    1. Attach the 3 claws to install the case.
  6. INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER 
  7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  8. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
  9. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT 
    1. Check the SRS warning light (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).
