Back Window Frame: Removal

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

HALF OPEN ROOF PANEL
1. Half open the roof panel (see MANUAL OPEN OPERATION ).

REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
1. Using a clip remover, remove the clip labeled A.

2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 7 clips.
  HINT:
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
3. Remove the side garnish.
REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH
HINT:

Use the same procedures described for the RH side.
REMOVE REAR ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 7 clips.
  HINT:
  
  Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
2. Remove the roof headlining.

REMOVE BACK WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
1. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 8 screws.
2. Remove the back window frame.

REMOVE REAR REMOVABLE ROOF WEATHERSTRIP
1. Remove the 4 screws, 2 nuts and 4 clips.
2. Using a clip remover, detach the clips.
3. Remove the removable roof weatherstrip rear.

1. Remove the 4 screws and weatherstrip retainer.
