Roof Position Limit Switch: Inspection

INSPECT SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH

Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
1 - 2	Pushed	Below 1 Ω
1 - 2	Not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the side roof limit switch.

INSPECT SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH (ROOF CLOSE RH)

Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
1 - 2	Pushed	Below 1 Ω
1 - 2	Not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the side roof limit switch.

INSPECT SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH (ROOF CLOSE LH)

Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
1 - 2	Pushed	Below 1 Ω
1 - 2	Not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the side roof limit switch.

INSPECT NO. 1, NO. 2 ROOF POSITION SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH

Measure the resistance of the switch (roof position No. 1).

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

1 - 3	Not pushed	Below 1 Ω
1 - 3	Pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the side roof limit switch.

Measure the resistance of the switch (roof position No. 2).

Standard resistance

2 - 3	Pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the side roof limit switch.

INSPECT NO. 3 ROOF POSITION SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH

Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance

TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

1 - 2	Not pushed	Below 1 Ω
1 - 2	Pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the side roof limit switch.

INSPECT SLIDE ROOF LIMIT SWITCH (ROOF OPEN)

Measure the resistance of the switch.

Standard resistance

1 - 2	Pushed	10 kΩ or higher

If the result is not as specified, replace the side roof limit switch (Roof open).
