Navigation Antenna: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (see SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS ).

  1. INSTALL NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the antenna with the 2 screws.

    2. Install the 2 clamps.
  2. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  4. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  6. INSTALL FRONT DEFROSTER NOZZLE (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  7. INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  8. INSTALL NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  9. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  10. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY (See  INSTALLATION  ) 
  11. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the instrument panel safety pad (see INSTALLATION ).
  12. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Perform initialization (see INITIALIZATION ).
      NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
