Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK GPS MARK 
    1. Check that the GPS mark is displayed.

      OK: 

      GPS mark is displayed. 

    NG: GO TO " GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED  " IN FLOWCHART 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (NAVIGATION CHECK MODE) 
    1. Enter the Navigation Check mode's Vehicle Sensors check (see NAVIGATION CHECK MODE  ).

    2. While driving, compare the "SPEED" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check if these readings are almost equal.

      OK: 

      The readings are almost equal. 

    NG: GO TO " SPEED SIGNAL CIRCUIT (NAVIGATION ECU - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY)  " IN FLOWCHART 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (NAVIGATION CHECK MODE)

    1. Move the shift lever to R or P.
      SHIFT LEVER POSITION CHART

      Shift Lever Position Display
      R OFF
      R ON

      HINT:

      The display is updated once per second. It is normal for the display to lag behind the actual switch operation.

    NG: GO TO " REVERSE SIGNAL CIRCUIT  " IN FLOWCHART 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
