2GR-FSE FUEL: INJECTOR DRIVER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
3. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET





(a) Remove the bolt and No. 1 air cleaner inlet.
4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER





(a) Remove the clip, 2 cap nuts and cover.
5. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER





(a) Disconnect the 4 injector driver connectors.
(1) Move the lock lever in the direction indicated by the arrow to release the connector lock. Disconnect the 3 connectors with wire harness locks and the connector from the injector driver.





(b) Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and injector driver.
NOTE:
Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
