1UR-FSE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ECM: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ECM





(a) Install the ECM with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
2. CONNECT WIRE HARNESS





(a) Connect the 6 ECM connectors.





(b) Connect the No. 4 connector holder.
3. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU COVER
(a) Install the engine room ECU cover with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
5. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Installation
6. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation
7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. PERFORM RESET MEMORY
NOTE:
Perform the RESET MEMORY (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM Initialization.
HINT: Initialization cannot be completed by only removing the battery.
