Throttle Body: Installation: Installation

INSTALL THROTTLE BODY
1. Install a new gasket to the intake manifold.

2. Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose to the throttle body.

  NOTE:
  Position the claws of the clamps as shown in the illustration.
3. Install the throttle body with the 4 bolts.

  Torque: 10 N*m ( 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
4. Connect the throttle motor connector.

INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 46
INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 2
INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 72
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER RH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 69
INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 70
INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 71
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Refer to INITIALIZATION .
ADD ENGINE COOLANT . Refer to REPLACEMENT - Step 4
INSPECT FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAK . Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION - Step 1
